Unfortunately, we live in the world separated
to countries, political blocks, systems. Every country seeks to strengthen the
control over the people living in this country. There are many manners of
control: migration, tax, political, legislative control. The person seeks
to weaken the control of the country over him/herself. How to do it? The
most optimal solution is to weaken the links of the private individual with
the country of origin. This can be achieved by strengthening the links of
the person with another country by obtaining a residence permit or citizenship.
In which cases it is advisable to obtain a
second citizenship?
This question is of individual character but
we can help you to find the solution in a specific situation.
The most wide-spread reasons on which persons
seek to obtain double citizenship are:
1. the
existence of a second country where the assets and income of the private
individual will not be subject to taxes of the country of the person’s
origin;
2. avoidance
of creditors’ and other claims in the country of origin;
3. obtaining
the citizenship and passport of a country giving the opportunity of free
transit in other countries;
4. avoidance
of prosecution on religious, ethnic and political reasons.
We offer the services on obtaining a legal
citizenship and passport in the Caribbean countries (Grenada, Belize,
Dominica, etc.).
A limited number of countries pursue special
programs on obtaining an economic citizenship (double citizenship) by
citizens of other countries when they invest a certain amount in the country’s
economy. Such payments may take the form of investments in
government-supported projects or special payments in favor of the
government.
The initial amount of investment is USD
40,000 for any single applicant and USD 50,000 for a two-member family with
two children of the age under 18. The precise amount of the investment and
the cost of services on acquiring citizenship will be quoted after the
selection of the country of the second citizenship and obtaining further
information about the applicant.
The country of the second citizenship
acknowledges the principle of double citizenship and gives the opportunity
to obtain the citizenship for almost all applicants who have no lawsuits
against them and some sicknesses dangerous for other people (cholera, AIDS,
etc.).
The selection of a specific jurisdiction
depends on a number of factors:
-
the number of applicants in the family;
-
the age of the applicants;
-
the amount of the required investment;
-
visa support;
-
the amount of the investment.
The possibility of entering other countries
without a visa is one of the important factors for the selection of the
country of the second citizenship. The most attractive are Grenada and
Dominica that have concluded over 100 agreements on cancellation of visa
regime. But even in case the country of the second citizenship has not
established the regime without visas with the country, which is of interest
to you, you do not need to visit the country of the second citizenship to
obtain the visa.
Acquisition of the residence permit
pursues somewhat other aims than the acquisition of the second citizenship.
The residence permit entitles to free entrance to the country (without a
visa) and living there for a specific time period for which the permit is
issued. The acquisition of residence permit does not cause the change of a
person’s citizenship.
We offer the acquisition of residence permits
in Czech Republic, a Central European country with favorable economic
climate.
The most famous reasons of the acquisition of
residence permits are:
1. the
willingness of the person to live in the country of the permit;
2. avoidance
of taxation of the person in the country of origin (most countries tax the
income of private individuals according to residence principle: living in
the country for at least 183 days per year);
3. purchase
of real estate or conducting business in the country of permit;
4. simplified
procedure of obtaining the citizenship subsequently.
